Video captures one rescued over a ladder at Englewood fire
Below is video courtesy of the Chicago Tribune of a rescue during an apartment fire in the city’s Englewood neighborhood. The man was reportedly in the third floor window and ready to jump when firefighters arrived.

It was noted by the Chicago Sun-Times that the apartment building had been cited for over 30 code violations in 2011 and failed inspections in 2011, 2008, 2006 and 2005.
