Fire on floor three of a large hanger, 100 x 400, knocked down
Boston Fire Department and MassPort companies went to work at a maintenance hanger fire at Logan Airport. The fire was on third floor of a large hanger under renovation.
0947: Second alarm struck. Companies report to Command.
0953: Fire is knocked down, checking for extension. Marine Unit on scene, standing by.
0955: C6 (Divison 1 Deputy) on the scene.
0959: C6 is now "Prescott Command". Operations reports large amount of smoke still inside.
1006: Fire on floor three of a large hanger, 100 x 400. Fire is knocked down, overhauling and ventilating.
1011: Companies on third floor alerted to open stairways and holes in floor. All natural roof openings are open.
1032: Command returning Engine Companies 4, 20 and 22. Second-alarm companies making up.
1055: Command holding all first-alarm companies.
1103: First-alarm companies making up.
