Hyattsville first due on the fire in the Plaza tunnel.
Hyattsville and other Prince George’s County firefighters were at work on a reported transformer fire in the tunnel of “The Mall at Prince George’s Plaza”, formerly and currently known as P.G Plaza.
The tunnel traverses the major width of the mall with an entrance and exit on Side Charlie. Loading docks for stores above as well as service for trash compactors, dumpsters and standpipe risers are located in the tunnel.
