P.G. Working:College Park House Fire, and Other Workers

Companies in the 6th and 4th Battalions start the morning with a working house fire.


Early Thursday morning, 27 January, companies in the College Park area (Co.12) were dispatched to 5008 Pierce Avenue for the house house fire. Companies found fire showing and all occupants safely evacuated. The bulk of the fire was fought from the exterior due to a collapse of the first floor. There were no reported injuries.

In other areas of the county, firefighters worked on a house fire in Greenbelt (Co.35) on Greenhill Road. First arriving crews found smoke showing from the single-family dwelling.
