Boston Working: Hyde Park Worker Becomes Second 3rd Alarm Fire

Basement fire runs the walls and attic, ending up with three alarms struck.


Companies in District 12 responded on Box 3781 for the house fire at Neponset Avenue. Firefighters found a basement fire that had extended into all floors and attic of the large 2 1/2-story dwelling. All occupants had escaped prior to the arrival of the fire department. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries.

Great article Dave. I agree with your comment that "they became traditions because they work." And yes if you change the focus from life safety to your own safety how about holding a town meeting and letting those you swore to protect know whats going on, I am sure they will see your point!
